About the Team
The Device Provisioning Technology Stream is responsible for the primary technologies (Device Management and Client Provisioning) used to remotely manage mobile devices. These standardised technologies are in the early stages of industry adoption throughout the main markets used by Symbian devices.

... re-factoring the architecture of a system component to improve the performance of the UI and greatly enhancing users' experience of the next generation of phones

... designing a blueprint for enabling new data services on future high-speed networks

... refining the test system to accelerate the shipping of upcoming phones, like the Moto' or N-series models

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Telecom related discipline.

Experience:
*Minimum 5 years of software development or testing experience
*C++ experience in a commercial environment
*Object Oriented Design experience

*Exposure and usage to at least 4 of the techniques (e.g. White, Black box, exploratory, code coverage, critical path testing, unit testing, integration testing (e.g. API based testing or 'User' view based testing), stress testing and Interoperability testing)

*Appropriateness of testing techniques in finding and resolving problems

I*dentifying and implementing minor improvements to the testing elements

*Direct knowledge and competencies to all stages of the SDLC up to and including IOT.

*Exposure to more than one SDLC (e,g, Waterfall, V Model, Agile)

Competencies in customer contact management

Skills:
Very good C++ and OO
Very Good verbal and written English skills
Good communication skills to wide set of audience types and forum (engineers, engineering managers, customers, senior management)

Able to constructively give feedback in various reviews to others, propose more innovative solutions to existing or change requirements to meet the varied and complex constraints.

Disposition:
A proactive 'can do' approach, backed with a positive outlook

Creative: some solutions will necessarily require out of the box/lateral thinking.
